Publications

I have published 580+ articles, been cited 55000+ times, and have an H factor of 114.

I prioritize publications in high impact journals (e.g., Nature, Science, PNAS, Proceedings of the Royal Society, Evolution, Conservation Biology, Ecology, Behavioural Ecology and Sociobiology), but I also value taxa oriented journals (e.g., International Journal of Primatology), which are just as important in the development of theory for the intriguing taxa I study. I also publish in regional journals (e.g., African Journal of Ecology), which are similarly important for developing regional scientific communities. I thoroughly enjoy collaboration, and most importantly having fun with my research and intellectual explorations.

Here is a complete list of Colin Chapman’s published work – you can download the paper by clicking on the link (pdf) after each citation.  If you have questions about the work or thoughts of how ideas could be developed, please email.
